How long have you been in business?
MRP Design Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary of serving the convenience store, restaurant, and retail industries this year.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide architectural and engineering services to commercial clients in an a la carte and comprehensive manner. We have the staff to handle all phases of site development from concept through certificate of occupancy.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Ken Dalton, owner, has always had an interest in engineering. He started with MRP Design at its inception and now heads the company. He was educated at SPSU here in Cobb County.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
MRP Design specializes in retail design and development, especially convenience stores and restaurants. We refer clients that fall outside of our expertise to other firms, choosing to focus on doing what we do well. We help clients find efficiencies that they didn't know they had, saving them precious time and money on each location they build.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have our main office in Kennesaw in our new building on Acworth Due West Road. We occupy the top floor of that building and also offer office condo's that have an upscale urban feel.
